Fan Finishes.

Woolen Mill Fans come in four different grades:

• Painted flat black iron is the least expensive, the body, hub and blade holders are painted flat black, the pulleys are raw iron that is lacquered to prevent rust and the blades are quarter sawn solid supele wood, finished or “stain ready”. Blades are available in 4ft or 5 ft diameter.
• Patina iron, these fans have the body, hub and blade holders colored with a black patina then lacquered to prevent rust, they come standard with raw iron pulleys or can be upgraded to polished solid bronze pulleys. The blades are solid quarter sawn mahogany either finished with a clear finish or unfinished “stain ready” for your custom stain. Blades are available in 4ft, 5ft or 6ft diameter.
• Solid patina bronze, these fans have the body, hub and blade holders in black oil rubbed bronze with the pulleys in polished solid bronze. The blades are solid quarter sawn mahogany with a clear finish or unfinished “stain ready” for your custom stain. Blades are available in 4ft, 5ft or 6ft diameter.
• Nickel plated, same as the patina bronze except the body, hubs, blade holders and pulleys are polished nickel plated over bronze castings. These fans are built and plated to order so will take extra lead time.

Please note: all fans employ the same superior sealed bearings, stainless steel shafts and real cast metals with a lifetime warranty.  Lead times are generally 2-4 weeks.
