12 – THE MOA .™ For ceilings 13 ft and higher the Moa is the largest belt fan available. The Moa is a modified interpretation of a large fan originally built by the Backus Fan Co. of Newark N.J., circa 1886. This fan is only available in oil rubbed solid bronze with polished solid bronze pulleys. The blades are fashioned from solid quarter sawn mahogany, finished blades are available in 4ft, 5ft and 6ft diameters with unfinished blades between 4ft and 6ft diameters. The blades can be tilted to regulate or change the airflow.
